Meet the chef

I am known as Amma, a title I have earned in my neighbourhood. I find my expression in cooking, serving and playing the host. Even after cooking for over four decades, I have never found the activity tiresome. I find it to be a meditative experience.

I love elephants, so much that I have a huge collection of them in different forms and sizes. I enjoy feeding bananas to elephants whenever I get an opportunity. Although I have been often asked not get too close to them, I find them irresistible, charming and feel completely safe around them.
